Work from Torp Festivalen in Norway. Collaboration between me and Kine Fagerheim, photos by Henning Pedersen…
We could perhaps name this project “4 days, 2 girls, no budget”;)! We had an AMAZING time fiddling around in the forest for 4 days designing, making and setting up our installations.
Our main aims were to
1. Create a fantastical surprise and experience for anyone who decided to walk into the forest instead of staying at the main festival site. Sillyness and curiosity should always be rewarded!
2. Get people into the forest! We hoped the rumours of the magical forest would spread and sure enough after a while we found plenty of amazed, drunk souls wandering around in the forest
3. Only use secondhand materials and objects: The festival has a focus on recycling and it is also held at a very old farm. Used objects with a history and life added to the mood and spirit that was allready there.
4. Have alot of fun and create awesome structures we would like to see/make out in (it IS a festival)
More pictures to come!
